The Spring 2021 election will be here before we know it. There will be 4 positions open on the Warrensburg Village Board: Village President and 3 Trustee positions.

A Statement of Candidacy form may be obtained at the Village Hall.
The nominating caucus will be held at the Village Hall on December 7, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
Now it its’ 31st year, the W-L Lion’s Club is seeking your partnership in collecting the names of families who may need assistance this holiday season. The main requirements are that the families live in the W-L School District and be in need of assistance.
Because of COVID-19, the Lion’s Club will be sending gift cards for food to the families and donations to the Lion’s Club to offset this cost would be appreciated.
The Barclay Public Library, in Conjunction with Dollar General, will be accepting gifts for those needing assistance this year. Gifts may be dropped off at Dollar General or at the library. The gifts will be quarantined for 7 days prior to being wrapped. The library will provide contactless porch drop-off.
Names of those needing assistance should be submitted to Pat Bales (217.855-4700) by December 10 and the last day for gift drop-off will be December 15.
The Village will again be holding a Christmas Lighting/Decorating Contest. If interested, please contact the Village Hall or Chief Wheeler to register your address by December 17. The decorations will be judged December 18 & 19 and winners will be announced December 21.
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive prizes. 1st place prize included up to $80.00 towards your January water bill.

The Village Hall will be closed on December 25 for Christmas and on January 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day. We wish a safe and happy holiday season for everyone.
