JANUARY 2021

The Village Hall will be closed on January 1, 2021 for New Year’s Day and on Monday, January 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Village had 14 residents participate in the Christmas Lighting Contest this Christmas season. Special thanks to those who participated along with those who agreed to judge the contest.

NEW INTERNET OPTION
A.C.T.S. Internet is coming to Warrensburg with the possibility of fiber optic cable.
The Village of Warrensburg is pursuing the fiber optic option. However, we need to have as many households as possible express their interest in fiber.
A.C.T.S. is a family owned internet service company based out of Moweaqua IL. Check out their Facebook page or their website at http://www.actscomp.com.

Community Foundation of Macon County

The Community Foundation of Macon County will be accepting online scholarship applications for the 2021-2022 academic year on Friday, Jan 1, 2021 at http://www.maconcountygives.org.
Macon County high school seniors who have been accepted at an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. Current college students are also eligible. Only completed electronic applications will be considered. Deadline to apply is Monday, March 1, 2021.

Speed Limit Change
After a study by the Illinois Department of Transportation and several discussions with Chief Wheeler and Trustee Lock, IDOT has reduced the speed through the Village of Warrensburg to 40 mph.
