Residents are always welcome at a Village Board of Trustees meeting. Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month and begin at 5:30 p.m. It’s a great way to be “in the know” as to what is going on in the Village government.
2 persons are needed for the zoning board committee. This committee meets on an “as needed” basis whenever building or remodeling within the Village doesn’t meet the zoning code and an exception or variance is requested.
The Friends of the Barclay Library are organizing a Spring Rummage Sale. It will be April 22 & 23. More details are forthcoming. Mark your calendars!!
Macon County Public Relations Committee Community Shred Day

**Consumers are welcome to bring up to five boxes of materials to shred (businesses may NOT participate)
**Participants must donate a minimum donation of five canned goods, which will be donated to the Northeast Community Fund.
The Village of Warrensburg, along with Illini Township, have applied for a Spring Clean-Up grant.
A tentative date for the event has been set for May 14, 2022 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Like last summer, it will be held at 177 S Washington.
We are also hoping to have an electronics recycling set-up on the same date.
More details on both will follow.
Plans continue to move forward for the 2022 Warrensburg Corn Festival which will be held July 21 – 23. Several of the entertainment events have been decided and contracts are being drawn up for the performances. There will be a car show again this year which will end with a light display. A corn-hole tournament is in the works along with a 5K, corn, parade, Wiffle ball tournament, corn-shucking contest, inflatables, corn, food, merchandise, karaoke and did we mention sweet corn??!!
We invite anyone to help support this event not only with your presence that weekend but also financially. You can become a festival friend with a generous contribution of $10.00 or more OR you could become a sponsor with a contribution starting at $100.00. Sponsors will be highlighted in various ways between now and during the festival. Information on how you can make a contribution can be found on the Warrensburg Corn Festival website or contact the Village Hall.
