There are still about 341 people who have not turned in there survey’s. The Village Hall is asking that if you are one of them that has not turned your survey in, to please have it turned in by December 5, 2025 at the latest. We need these to help with grants, and keeping the water bill cost down. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Village Hall.

Public Works are working on flushing hydrants for the first few weeks in November,

November water bills went out November 3 and will be due November 18, 2025.

Effective October 27, 2025 the Village Hall hours will be 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

The Village Hall will be closed Monday, October 13, 2025 for Columbus day.

REMINDER THAT THE VILLAGE HALL WILL BE OPEN 8AM -9 AM AND CLOSED THE REST OF THE DAY. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10 AND THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16 DUE TO TRAINING

ELECTION JUDGES NEEDED

Macon County is in need of election judges in your precinct. If you would like to become an election judge please contact the Macon County Clerk’s Office at 217-424-1305.

Election judges must:

  • Be registered to vote
  • Attend a two hour training prior to Election Day
  • Set the polling place up Monday before Election Day
  • Work all day ( approximately 5;00 a.m. until after polls close at 7:00 p.m. and ballots have been returned to the County Clerk’s Office) on Election Day
  • Election Judges are appointed for a two-year term
  • Election Judge pay is $200.

The Village is asking that ALL vehicles be moved Sunday August 10, 2025 due to roads being oiled and chipped Monday August 11, 2025 at 7 a.m.

VILLAGE CLEAN-UP DAY IS SATURDAY, MAY 3. TAKE ELECTRONICS TO THE PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM VILLAGE HALL, 168 E. MAIN, FROM 9 AM TO NOON. TAKE REGULAR MATERIALS TO THE ILLINI TOWNSHIP, 177 S. WASHINGTON STREET, BEGINNING AT 7 AM UNTIL THE DUMPSTERS ARE FULL.

WARRENSBURG METHODIST CHURCH is celebrating 150 years!
Everyone is invited to attend a Celebration Service on Sunday, November 10 at 2:00 PM.

Village Hall will be CLOSED on November 11 in observance of VETERAN’S DAY.
We honor the men and women who have served in our Armed Forces.
Call Village Hall if you would like to add a name to our Veteran’s Memorial.

Mark your calendars for the 3rd annual Christmas Tree lighting event, ONE TREE MANY BRANCHES!
It will be held on Saturday, December 14 beginning at 6:00 PM at Village Hall.

OCTOBER 2025

Join us for this fundraising event for the 2025 Corn Festival on Saturday, October 5 from 7-10 PM. Food will be available from Vinnie’s BBQ and music provided by 99 Proof. Follow the Warrensburg Corn Festival Facebook page for more details regarding this and future events.

Village Hall will be closed on Monday, October 14 in Observance of Columbus Day. Have a safe Holiday!

ILLINI PARK FALL FESTIVAL
Saturday, October 19 from 5:30-8:30 PM.
Bring the family to a Fall celebration with food, an obstacle course and bounce house, face painting, balloon artist and games at 6PM. And a bonfire, hayrack rides and Trunk-or-Treat at 7 PM.

HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREATING HOURS
Wednesday, October 30 from 5-8 PM & Thursday, October 31 from 5-7 PM.
Parade begins at 7PM at the Elementary School and ends at the Fire Department. Everyone welcome!
