ELECTION JUDGES NEEDED

Macon County is in need of election judges in your precinct. If you would like to become an election judge please contact the Macon County Clerk’s Office at 217-424-1305.

Election judges must:

• Be registered to vote
• Attend a two hour training prior to Election Day
• Set the polling place up Monday before Election Day
• Work all day ( approximately 5;00 a.m. until after polls close at 7:00 p.m. and ballots have been returned to the County Clerk’s Office) on Election Day
• Election Judges are appointed for a two-year term
• Election Judge pay is $200.
  

VILLAGE CLEAN-UP DAY IS SATURDAY, MAY 2. TAKE ELECTRONICS TO THE PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM VILLAGE HALL, 168 E. MAIN, FROM 9 AM TO NOON. TAKE REGULAR MATERIALS TO THE ILLINI TOWNSHIP, 177 S. WASHINGTON STREET, BEGINNING AT 7 AM UNTIL THE DUMPSTERS ARE FULL.

W-L LION’S CLUB will host their Breakfast Extravaganza Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 7:00am- 10:00am at the Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
